| Abstract: | Hydride reduction of (n6-arene)(n6?2n]cyclophane)ruthenium(II) compounds, followed by treatment with acid, gives (n6?2n]cyclophane)ruthenium(II) solvates and thus provides a general synthesis for bis(n6?2n]cyclophane)ruthenium(II) compounds. |
