Study on Estimation Model of Product Development Cost

Development cost is a very important component of the total cost for large complex systems. Development cost estimation attracts more and more public attention in recent years. This article makes a comparison and comment on the different development cost estimation models. On the basis of the analysis and study of the Weibul distribution curves of development cost and its limitations of fitting, the paper suggests the Weibul distribution accumulative curve fitting model and the conditions of its application. Finally, one example of model analysis are given.
