| Abstract: | This paper is concerned with an analysis of viscous flow through a varying cross sectional area, typical of application in a Wankel Engine. The analysis models flow past a variable moving boundary. Dimensionless temperature, velocities, friction factor and Nusselt numbers are obtained and evaluated for the inside of a Wankel engine channel for different fluid properties. Research has indicated such application has not been previously performed. |
