| Abstract: | In this paper we discuss the structure of some product G =AB of nilpotent subgroups A and B. In particular we prove that if G is a minimax soluble group or a finitely generated linear group and if it does not have non-trivial periodic normal subgroups, then G is metanilpotent. |
