Central units of integral group rings * |

| Abstract: | In this note we give a description of the central units of an integral group ring ZG for an arbitrary group G. We also give a set of generators of a subgroup of finite index in the centre of the unit group when G is any group whose F C-centre is finitely generated. Jespers, Parmenter and Sehgal did the same for finitely generated nilpotent groups. |
