Squeezed Coherent State Representation of Scalar Field and Particle Production in the Early Universe

Abstract:The quantum field theory of a scalar field in curved space-time is studied usingthe squeezed coherent state representation. In this representation the expectationvalues of the stress-energy tensor of the scalar field is calculated. The presentcalculation can account for the production of particles in the early universe.
