Abstract: | Vanadia monolayer catalysts supported on SnO2, ZrO2, TiO2, and SiO2, similarly as titania and stibia monolayers deposited on SiO2, have been synthesized by reacting the corresponding metal alkoxides with hydroxyls on the carrier surfaces. The metal ions loads in monolayer systems were determined. The catalysts activity was tested in 2-propanol transformations. The nature of carrier has a strong influence on the dehydrating to dehydrogenating activity ratio of vanadia monolayer. |
