| Abstract: | We in this note drop a Lipschitz constant in a Grippo-Lucidi-type step length rule recently proposed by Shi and Shen [Z. Shi, J. Shen, Convergence of PRP method with new nonmonotone line search, Applied Mathematics and Computation 181(1) (2006) 423-431], and the original convergence remains valid. |
