| Abstract: | In this paper, we are concerned with the inverse Sturm–Liouville problem with polynomially dependent eigenparameter in discontinuity and boundary conditions. By using a self‐adjoint operator‐theoretic interpretation for this sort of problem, Ambarzumyan theorem is provided for the mentioned Sturm–Liouville operator.
