| Abstract: | The Cauchy problem for Schrödinger-BBM type coupled equations is studied, which approximately describes the nonlinear dynamics of one-dimensional Langmuir and ion-acoustic waves. Global well-posedness of the problem is proved in space L2 × L2 and H1 × H1 under suitable conditions. |
