| Abstract: | Given the decomposition of the weyl module for Sp(4,K) in this paper,K is the algebraic closed field in which the charceter is more than zero, and G is the simple connected and semisimple algebraic group of type C_2 over K.Determining the Cartan invariant and the first Cartan invariant for finite group is the key subject in the theory of modular representations; however,and the Weyl module decomposition is important to calculation of the Catrtan invariant and the first Cartan invariant for finite group.The decomposition of the weyl module for Sp(4,K) is given in this note by the same method as J.C.Jantzen in 5], and the result refers to matrix A in this note. |
