Sensitive dopamine recognition by boronic acid functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes

Abstract:Boronic acid functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) have been synthesized and used for sensitive dopamine (DA) detection using electrochemical methods in the presence of excess L-ascorbic acid (L-AA) via specific, reversible formation of a boronate ester between DA and the functionalized MWNTs.
