Abstract:TD-LTE(Time Duplex Long Term Evolution) is the next generation of w ireless communication standard, on which China has independent kernel intellectu al property rights. It defines 7 different UL-DL(Uplink Downlink) configuration s to flexibly support different traffic requirements in uplink and downlink. By s tudying the timing of different UL-DL configurations, the impact of different UL -DL configurations on the UL and DL delay is given. The impacts on the throughpu t and spectral efficiency of different UL-DL configurations are also proposed by analysing the configuration of channel quality feedback, sounding reference sig nal transmission and hybrid transmission of different UL-DL configurations.The a nalysis result is verified by syst em level simulation and the actual delay, th roughput and spectral efficiency of different UL-DL configurations are given, wh ich provid es a reference for the selection of UL-DL configuration under specific traffic and networking requirements.
