Effect of ideal-gas flow swirl on the optimum supersonic contour of an axisymmetric nozzle with break

Abstract:The effect of swirling the flow at the nozzle inlet on the shape of the optimum supersonic section with a break at the point of intersection of the limiting characteristic and the contour is investigated within the framework of the ideal (inviscid and non-heat-conducting) gas model.
