| Abstract: | The macromolecular helicity of charged poly(phenylacetylene)s induced by small chiral guests in water can be retained by the alternative deposition of achiral polyelectrolytes with opposite charges, resulting in optically active multilayer thin films with a macromolecular helicity memory. |
