Abstract:C(17)H(24)MoN2O4S,Mr.=448.40,Orthorhombic,P212121 a=9.292(2),b=27.231(8),c=8.308(2),V=2102.3(1.6),Z=4,Dc=1.42 g/cm3 ,A(MoKα)=0.71069,μ=7.2 cm-1,F(000)=920,T=296K,final R=0.043 and Rw=0.065 for 1889 observed reflections with I>3.0 σ(I).The geometry around the central Mo(0) atom in the title complex is a distorted octahedron with S,N atoms of pyridine-2-thiolato ligand(pyS) and four C atoms from carbonyls,the bond distances of Mo-S and Mo-N are 2.637 and 2- 273 , respectively.
