Abstract: | Titanium dioxide/carbon fabrics were prepared through pyrolysis of cellulosic fabrics in the presence of titanium ions. The influence of sintering temperature on the characteristics of the TiO2/carbon fabrics was investigated. The properties of the samples were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The photocatalytic efficiency was evaluated by degradation of methylene blue (MB) solution. The results showed that the sample sintered at 300°C exhibits high photocatalytic efficiency. |
