Abstract: | The possibility of obtaining core-shell nanoparticles bydepositing adatoms of a different element B above a cluster ofan element A (system B/A) is studied by Molecular Dynamicssimulations. We consider the four cases Ag/Cu, Cu/Ag, Ag/Pd andPd/Ag, which present very different behaviours, and investigatewhether it is possible to build up of well-defined core-shellstructures. |
