| Abstract: | We present estimates of the (κ, μ)-modified oscillator potential parameters fitted to the experimental levels using a new set of equilibrium deformations (ε 2,ε 4) of rare earth nuclei obtained from the shell correction method including a simple consistency condition. The single particle levels evaluated with the new parameters (κ, μ) presented here are in good agreement with the empirical level order. |
