| Abstract: | Potassium carbonate as inorganic base catalyst was used to develop an efficient synthetic procedure for the preparation of thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives. The molecular structure of the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by NMR spectral data. |
