| Abstract: | An efficient synthesis of cinepazide has been carried out in four steps with an overall yield of 51%. The synthesis was started from a commercially available 3,4,5-tri-methoxy benzaldehyde. All the reactions were very clean and the isolation of products was also very easy. |
