Abstract: | The faradaic impedance of Pb/PbSO4·H2SO4 (5 M) and Pb/PbO2 · PbSO4, H2SO4 (5 M) as well as a system which probably corresponds to Pb/PbO · PbSO4, H2SO4 (5 M) have been investigated using a Schering bridge. The effect of incorporation of 2% and 6% of antimony in the lead was also studied. The results show that in addition to charge transfer and Warburg impedances, crystallisation, nucleation and adsorption impedances are also present. |
