| Abstract: | The irradiation of oxygenated solutions of allyl sulfones containing small amounts of palladium trifluoroacetate led to regioselective oxidation of the allylic position furthest from the electron-withdrawing group. The efficiency of this reaction increased in the presence of copper(II). |
