| Abstract: | reaction: see text] Enyne metathesis has been used to prepare bridged azabicycles and applied in a short asymmetric synthesis of the tropane ferruginine. A Grubbs first generation catalyst proved to be superior to the second generation catalyst in the enyne metathesis reaction. |
