Thermocapillary drift of a droplet of viscous liquid

The article discusses the thermocapillary drift of a drop of a viscous liquid, filling the whole space, in another liquid, with a constant temperature gradient at infinity, in the absence of the force of gravity. The distribution of the velocities, temperatures, and pressures in the liquid are obtained in the Ozeenov approximation, and the rate of drift of a drop and its form are found.
