| Abstract: | Aryl thenyl and aryl aryl- -thienylmethyl sulfides have been obtained by the action of oxalic acid esters on an equimolecular mixture of bromomagnesium thienyl or aryl -thienyl carbinolates and bromomagnesium thiophenolates (or thionaphtholates). Derivatives of the sulfides, sulfoxides and sulfones, are also described.For part XX, see [9]. |
