| Abstract: | Electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry studies and quantum chemical calculations indicate that bidentate ligation of Li+ ion to the diamines leads to symmetric bridging and exhibits contrasting relative affinity orderings compared to that of proton for alpha,omega-diamines. |
