| Abstract: | The last step of network cabling is to test and evaluate the cabling system. The performance tests of cable is usually omitted. The paper describes basic items used to test category 5 UTP performance, such as near-end crosstalk,power sum near end cross talk, attenuation-to-crosstalk ratio, equal level far-end crosstalk, power sum equal level far-end crosstalk, return loss,and delay skew. |
