| Abstract: | Lanthanide trichlorides (Ln = La,Ce,Sm) and Eu(fod)3 catalyze the aldol addition of silyl enol ethers to aldehydes, the addition of trimethylsilyl cyanide to aldehydes and ketones as well as thesynthesis of β-cyanosilyl ethers. |
