| Abstract: | A simple rapid,and inexpensive procedure for the determination of micropyrophosphate is described.The assay is based on a green colord compound formed by the action of pyrophosphate with amonium molybdate in the presence of mercaptoethanol under acidic conditions.The spectrum of this green complex had a characteristic absorption peak at 580nm. |
