| Abstract: | A new spectrophotometric method for the determination of formaldehyde is described, based on a colour reaction with oxalyidihydrazide and copper(II). The optimum reaction conditions, and other analytical parameters such as interferences, Beer's law, sensitivity, collection efficiency, etc. have been studied. |
