Measurement of the electron energy distribution function in flame plasma at atmospheric pressure

Abstract:The measurement of the electron distribution function in the lighting gas flame plasma at atmospheric pressure is described. The influence of the collision in the probe sheet and the ion current component is investigated. The experimental results show that the second derivative method for measurement of the electron distribution function is valid for sufficiently negative biassed probe.
