| Abstract: | Two kinds of Nickel electroplating bath had been obtained in the research of corrosion prevention of sluice gate. one is half bright Ni-ckel electroplating bath which contains DN-1 and the other is bright Nickel electroplating bath which contains both first kind of Nickel bri-ghtener and second kind of Nickel brightener, all based on watt＇s elec-troplating bath. In this paper, conventional methods have been used to measure the propertises of the above baths, such as conductivity, PH value, current efficiency, differential capacity curve and polarization curve. A conclusion is achieved based on the measurements that the above baths are quite good baths for Nickel electroplating, but there are shortcom-ings in the original technological conditions. |
