湖北棉花生产格局的时空变化及原因分析

利用湖北省农业生产数据，提取1992年至2002年各年份县棉花生产信息，并利用GIS软件Supermap的空间显示功能分别将各年的棉花播种面积、总产量等进行空间显示、分析和对比，揭示棉花生产的变化规律。结果显示：湖北棉花生产主要分布在鄂北岗地区及沿江平原区，同时，以1998年为分水岭，之前全区棉花产量、面积都较高，之后则骤减．结合该时段国家政策、市场行情、气候特点和棉花收益等因素对湖北省棉花生产变化的结果进行了分析解释．

Analysis on the temporal and spatial change of cotton production of Hubei province

Based on the agriculture production database of Hubei province, the cotton production data during the period from 1992 to 2002 was captured and joint to the administrative country boundary coverage by GIS software Supermap. The cotton production change patterns are revealed through the displaying, analyzing and contrasting of the yearly cotton data. It shows that the cotton main production area mainly distributes at the plains ahong the Changjiang river and the northern places. Before 1998 ,the cotton sown area and total yield of every county was high and steady,and it was decreased year by year after 1998. The reason of the cotton production change patterns is revealed through the analysis of the national policy, the market change, the climate change and the net income of the cotton production.
