Solution of the generalized ornstein-zernike equation for an ideal crystal

Abstract:An ensemble of particles with the Lennard-Jones intermolecular interaction potential is considered. It is shown that at T=0 the generalized Ornstein-Zernike equation for the one- and two-particle distribution functions has a periodic solution that corresponds to the ideal crystal. A relation linking the intermolecular interaction potential with the crystal lattice parameters proceeds from the solution. Irkutsk State University.
