The soft X-ray spectra of concentrated binary alloys |

| Abstract: | The soft X-ray spectra of Al-Mg alloys are discussed within a simple model. Reasonable agreement with experiment is obtained. The results explain the main features of the spectra of any binary alloy with non-zero valence difference. Elementary consequences are discussed. |
