Simple lattice Boltzmann approach for turbulent buoyant flow simulation

Abstract:In the present work, a simple large eddy simulation (LES)-based lattice Boltzmann model (LBM) is developed for thermal turbulence research. This model is validated by some benchmark tests. The numerical results demonstrate the good performance of the present model for turbulent buoyant flow simulation.
