| Abstract: | This review focuses on the recent studies and development of the preparations of polyglycolide(PGA) and ester-ester and ester-ether copolymers, of the biodegradability, the biocompatibility and the mechanical properties of the bio-polymers. The medical applications of those biodegradable materials and prospects of polyglycolide are also discussed. |
