灯泵铥激光器温度特性的实验研究

摘    要:利用粒子的热分布理论,推导了铥晶体的吸收系数和铥激光器阀值与温度的关系;利用自行研制的掺铥激光器测量了铥晶体的吸收系数随温度的变化,实验结果和理论值符合得很好;测量了在不同温度下自行研制的铥激光器的输入输出特性,得到了不同温度下激光器的阀值。理论和实验结果都表明引起铥激光器高阀值的主要原因是温度引起的激光下能级的热分布粒子。

Abstract:By the theory of particle heat\|distribution, the relation between absorption coefficient of thulium doped crystal, threshold of thulium laser and temperature is deduced. The absorption coefficient of thulium doped crystal is measured by the thulium laser manufactured by ourselves. The input\|output characteristic of the thulium laser at different temperature is also measured. The relation between threshold of laser and temperature is gained. It's proved that the cause of high threshold of thulium laser is the heat\|distribution particle at low laser energy level.
