| Abstract: | Diffraction of light in thick anisotropic holographic media is considered. Solutions for the wave amplitude, diffraction efficiency, and angular mismatch are given in the reflection geometry for the case of refractive index modulation. A comparison with Kogelnik’s isotropic theory is made. |
