| Abstract: | It was demonstrated by X-ray diffraction analysis that the reaction of 3,3-dimethyl-6-trifluoromethyl-2,3-dihydro-4-pyrone with hydroxylamine afforded 5-hydroxyamino-3-(2-hydroxy-1,1-dimethylethyl)-5-trifluoromethyl-Δ2-isoxaline.
