| Abstract: | Hydrochloride salts of N-substituted-bis-(2-chloroethyl)amines can be condensed with m-methoxyphenyl-acetonitrile or 1-phenyl-2-alkanones under phase-transfer conditions to yield precursors of the powerful analgesic compounds - the ketobemidones. |
