Abstract: | The thermosolutal instability of a plasma is studied to include the effects of coriolis forces and the finiteness of ion Larmor Radius in the presence of transverse magnetic field. It is observed that the effect of rotation is destabilizing only in a typical case. However, the F. L. R. and stable solute gradient have stabilizing effects on stationary convection irrespective of the presence of coriolis forces. |
