| Abstract: | The angular isopropenylfuranoxanthone heterocyclic system, on which the anti-leukemic natural product psorospermin is based, is synthesized by the reaction of cuprous isopropenylacetylide with 4-bromo-1,5-dimethoxy-3-hydroxyxanthone. |
