| Abstract: | Bis-xanthates of phenylarsenic(III), having the general formula, PhAs(S2COR)2 (where R = Me, Et, Prn, Pri, allyl and Bun), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molecular weight, IR, NMR (1H and 13C) and mass spectral data which have been discussed in relation to plausible structures for these arsenic derivatives. |
