Hyperfine fields of Laves phase compounds |

| Abstract: | The hyperfine fields were calculated by the LMTO method in the framework of the LSD approximation. Among the transition metal compounds, YMn2 is a remarkable compound because the contribution from the valence electrons to the hyperfine field is positive and anomalously large. |
