Nouvelles synthèses de thiéno[3,2-c] - et thiéno[2,3-c]pyridines

A new method for the synthesis of thieno2,3-c]-and 3,2-c]-pyridines and of their tetrahydro derivatives is described. The process is based on some modifications of the Pomeranz-Fritsch reaction leading to isoquinolines.
