| Abstract: | It is shown that the ar 1, 0 limit of the Potts gauge model describes plaquette percolation as the analogous limit of the spin model describes bond percolation. These results further strengthen the connection between gauge theories and random surfaces. Moreover, further generalizations to other types of gauge theories are presented. |
