| Abstract: | The renormalized lattice coupling constant for the O(3) non-linear sigma model is calculated, including instanton effects, and the correlation length estimated. The results are in good agreement with the Monte Carlo simulation of Shenker and Tobochnik. The topological charge density is also discussed in the light of recent Monte Carlo simulations. |
