Gluon magnetic mass in Hartree-Fock approximation

It is shown that generation of a mass for spatial gluons is possible at finite temperature and chemical potential when a Hartree-Fock approximation is made in the equations of motion for the generating functional. The asymptotic expression for this magnetic mass is estimated in the range of validity of the approximation and it turns out to be $\text{O}\text{(g}\text{ln}{}^{\mathrm{<mtext>1</mtext><mtext>2</mtext>}}\text{(μ/μ}{}_0\text{))}$.
